PCS Global delivered a digital infrastructure project within Southern Africa’s data centre environment using Rockwell Automation (Studio 5000) and Inductive Automation (Ignition) to unify and optimise operations.
Data centres generate vast volumes of operational data, but without integration that information quickly becomes noise. PCS Global was engaged to consolidate multiple critical systems into a single, intuitive operational view — eliminating silos and enabling real-time decision-making in a mission-critical environment. By implementing Rockwell Automation PLCs alongside Ignition SCADA, we created a true “single pane of glass,” transforming raw data into actionable insight that supports improved uptime, faster response times, and stronger operational confidence.
The project was delivered on time within a high-stakes, mission-critical setting and successfully unified previously fragmented systems into one operational view. This resulted in improved uptime, accelerated response times, reduced manual intervention, and access to real-time, actionable insight – ultimately strengthening operational resilience and day-to-day decision-making.
Curious by nature and driven to learn, the PCS Global commissioning team consistently pushes beyond “good enough” to deeply understand and optimise the systems they bring to life.
